Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding processing charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions
Requirements: Must be officially requested via email or telephone communication
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: 50% of the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 taken from the refund amount
Conditions: Acceptable reason required; subject to administrative expenses
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds are not available
Exceptions: Cases of emergency might be reviewed
Alternative: Credit for a future charter might be granted at the discretion of the management
Requirements: Emergency claims must be substantiated with documentation
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our primary concern. Should the weather be deemed hazardous for sailing by our certified captain, we present adaptable choices:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn't feasible, a 100% refund will be provided
- Reschedule: You can change your booking to a subsequent available slot at no extra charge
- Charter Credit: You may opt for a credit that is valid for a year from the original booking date
Weather Assessment Procedure
We undertake comprehensive weather evaluations including:
- Analysis of wind velocity and direction
- Examination of wave magnitude and ocean conditions
- Forecasts for visibility and precipitation
- Alerts and announcements from the Coast Guard
- Detailed safety analysis by a professional captain
Decision Deadline: Decisions on whether to cancel due to weather are made at most 4 hours before the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Exceptions for Emergencies
We're sympathetic to the sudden emergence of health crises. The following situations may warrant special consideration:
- Unanticipated illness or injury necessitating hospital treatment
- Loss of an immediate family member
- Urgent military deployment or recall
- Jury duty or a court-ordered appearance
- Natural disasters obstructing travel
Documentation Standards
To evaluate requests for emergency refunds, please furnish documents such as:
- Health certification or hospital paperwork
- Document verifying death (if relevant)
- Formal military directives
- Legal summons or jury duty notification
- Emergency proclamations or travel directives
Processing: Emergency refund requests are managed within 3-5 working days after the receipt of the appropriate documents.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Failures
Should the yacht you booked encounter irreparable mechanical issues:
- Substitute Vessel: We will try to arrange a similar alternative
- Full Refund: If an appropriate replacement isn't available
- Partial Refund: If the alternative vessel is differently priced
- Compensation: Potential additional remuneration for any inconvenience faced
Crewing Challenges
In the unusual event that our certified crew is not available:
- We will endeavor to secure an alternative crew if possible
- A complete refund if we're unable to go ahead with the charter
- Options to reschedule at no extra cost
Refund Handling
Payment Methods
Refunds are issued to the original payment method employed during booking:
- Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Processed within 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Processed within 3-5 business days
Processing Costs
Credit Card Transactions
€50 fee for bookings cancelled more than three days ahead
Bank Remittance Processing
€25 charge for all reimbursement through bank transfers
Global Transaction Handling
Supplementary charges may be incurred for international dealings
Charter Credits
Circumstances for Credit Issuance
In specific scenarios, charter credits may be issued instead of refunds:
- Late cancellation requests (under 24-hour notice)
- Charters annulled due to weather conditions
- Voluntary amendments made to the schedule
- Disruptions due to operational issues
Credit Stipulations
- Validity: Credits are valid for one year from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits are not assignable to others
- Value: Corresponds to the full value of the charter, excluding processing rates
- Application: Applicable towards any future charters within availability
- Expiry: Credits must be used within the year, with no extensions
Partial Service Reimbursements
Interruptions to Service
Should the yacht rental be interrupted or halted prematurely due to our oversight:
- Refunds prorated based on the time not utilized
- Credits equating to a similar future charter
- Gifted services or enhancements
Guest-Induced Discontinuities
If the charter is ended early because of guest behavior or violation of safety guidelines:
- No return of funds for the unutilized duration
- Full payment is still required
- Potential additional fees
Disagreeing with a Refund Decision
If you take issue with a determination regarding a refund, options include:
- Asking for our managerial staff to reassess
- Submitting extra evidence or supporting materials
- Engagement with consumer advocacy organizations for dispute remedy
- Legal recourse according to prevailing laws

- Any requests for refunds must be communicated in writing
- Refunds are processed in €, whatever the initial payment currency might have been
- We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance
- Amendments to this policy can be made given a 30-day notice
- Refunds are subject to applicable fiscal policies and regulations
